I live way beyond my means and that’s been a prominent fact in my life for as long as I can remember! In a bid to lower my monthly outgoings, so I can spend my hard-earned coin on more important things like travel and whiskey, I decided I should probably find more cost-effective grooming products.
I’ve been using Kiehl’s for about two years now; I was gifted it as a birthday present from a friend. I love the Kiehl’s range as much as the next man or Kardashian, but I’m finding it hard to part with £70 every time I need a top up.

If you haven’t caught on yet I’ve been trial and testing Bulldog Skincare to replace Kiehl’s in my morning routine. The set was another gift, but not from Bulldog Skincare. At first I was a tad skeptical of the brand as I’d never heard of them before, so I did some research before using. According to Bulldog’s website all their products are animal friendly.
“All Bulldog products are certified Cruelty Free. They never contain ingredients from animal sources and that includes common ones like lanolin and beeswax. All our products are suitable for vegans and vegetarians and are approved by the Vegetarian Society in the UK.” – Bulldog Skincare.

As I said before, I’m always skeptical of a skincare brand that’s new to me because my skin doesn’t take to kindly to a heavy facial routine and I can often end up an oily mess. That being said, I threw myself into the deep end and tried the full original range.
The range is light on the skin, smells fresh, and left my skin feeling hydrated whilst looking matte for the majority of the day which is three things I look for in my grooming products. The Full set comes in at around £20, which I’m still struggling to comprehend. There’s so much quality and thought gone into making of all Bulldog Skincare products that has been made accessible to every man and his….bulldog *pun intended*.
Bulldog has been on the market for about ten years now, so I am a little late to the party, but for a cheap change to my morning routine, Bulldog has more than surprised me and will most likely become a staple.
