| Excited for part two of my LC:M roundup? No….whatever |
Seeing the new talent getting showcased in the same light as the season-fit designers of London collections is what makes London Fashion Weeks so exciting for me. MAN fall ’16 is one of those shows I always keep an eye for as it’s guaranteed to be young, fresh and push the boundaries of modern menswear.
Rory Parnell-Mooney’s third showing for MAN took my eye this season and more so than previous seasons. Like most designers he has refined his style, season after season, and thus giving us his most wearable collection to date. I was slightly nostalgic to see the collection was influenced by the 90’s (I may be wrong), judging by the fit of the tops, accessories used, and fabrics. I particularly loved his wide-leg trouser, a cut I’ve been trying to wean back into my wardrobe unsuccessfully and it’s great to see refreshing ways to wear a wide-leg so I can finally cut myself out of these skinny jeans for good.
The whole look and feel of his collection has left me reconsidering my fall ’16 wardrobe and yes I’m considering my fall’16 wardrobe! Going forward, I want less structure in my wardrobe; I’ve been living in rigid clothing for so long and not allowing myself any comfort and I think I’m getting a little tired of wearing a suit in the house because I don’t own slacks.

This post has gone slightly off-track! In conclusion, Rory Parnell-Mooney was great and the sooner he can get an online store open, the better. Also, wide-leg is in and skinny jeans are out (guys we can breathe again).where Kanye failed to revive the velour-tracksuit, I will succeed.
Thanks for reading and don’t forget to like, share on your numerous social networks, and leave a comment etc. View the full collection at By Fashion Nazi’s Facebook or in all its colourful glory at Voguerunway.com. Keeping checking for my last post on LC:M!
