I came across the site Hardwearing by Belgian creatives Pieter Peulen and Joeri Evers thanks to the wonder of Instagram! According to their Twitter bio Hardwearing is quite simply a blog that writes about fashion and creates interiors and I love that! In my opinion blogs and bloggers are starting to lose a sense of where they started and why they started by becoming international corporate sites. I think being a blogger should be about simply sharing your passions and opinions and not trading your blood, sweat, tears and first born to become a fashion blogging sensation. Don’t get me wrong and think I’m bitter, I just think it should be an organic process and not forced. However, I wouldn’t complain if I did become a fashion blogging sensation,
Anyway, I’m mad about this aesthetic at the moment and only because its not something I can achieve myself (I’ve tried and failed). That simple and minimalist European look they go for on their site, Instagram, Twitter and various other social networks reminds me of the Love Aesthetics look but almost from a guys point of view, if that makes any sense. Like Love Aesthetics, they are being picked up by big name brands such as Ikea, Memorieslab, Vans and i’m sure many more in the future. I’m excited to see what they do in the future as they achieved so much in such a short space of time.
Thanks for reading and don’t forget to like and leave a comment etc.
